I know 1st years at
BAML got: 37.5k GBP base + 5 Sign-on + 20 Year End; moved first-year analyst comp to 45K GBP base + 5k Sign-on for this year. 2nd-year offers of 50k base. 1st year associates got 25K year-end bonus, a bump to 65k base, and a 40k sign-on to stay at BAML.
Goldman: 36k GBP Base (moved to 42k a few weeks into the year) + 5K sign-on, and they changed their remuneration structure for analysts so they get paid their bonuses with everyone else in January, so they didn't get much last January, but should have a good payout in a couple of months.
Blackstone: 38k + 5K + 40-45k year end. They take top three banks in the market, average them, and pay 10% above that average for year-end bonuses.
Lazard: 38k + 8k sign-on + 20-25k year end.
HSBC: 36K + 5K sign-on + 20 year-end; second year offers of 45k base
RBS: 40k Base + 10k sign-on + who cares--I wouldn't work there.
