Macro Sales vs Repo Trading (Treasury)?
Would appreciate your opinion on moving from Macro Sales to Repo Trading? < 3y experience
Pros:
- Opportunity to switch to Trading
- More technical, learning new skills
- Desk also trading longer tenor (warehousing some risks) although majority still is repo activity
Cons:
- Considerably lower compensation on the medium term (until I move up or out)
- Not the best Balance Sheet
