Large institutions can obtain extraordinary amounts of leverage. You might remember a little HF back in the 90s named LTCM who was leveraged 30:1 in the beginning and had ballooned to around 100:1 by the time they nearly crashed the economy.
In this market, I am completely unleveraged. Go get em though.
I sure wouldn't have minded being leveraged over the past few years
