MM IB > Physical Commodity Trading
Currently finishing up my first year at a MM bank on a food and ag heavy team.
Looking to make a change and interested in physical commodity trading (agricultural specifically) and had a few questions for those with a broader view of the industry.
Is the best place to get started in this still a TDP at Louis Dreyfus etc?
Is it unusual to start a program after 2 years in banking?
How much of a pay cut am I in for? Typical trading hours?
Thanks in advance, really unsure of where to gather info on this stuff.
