MM S&T: traditional market making

I've done some searches and I am having trouble finding places other than BBs involved in S&T. I am not interested in proprietary trading, just traditional market making.

I've read that Wells Fargo, RBS, and other bigger banks have respectable trading divisions. Is there a list of off the beaten path operations that would be good places to start a career?

Trying to put together a list of places to begin reaching out to, I'm a non-target sophomore so I'm trying to cast as wide of a net as possible.

I'm a non-target junior and I managed to get an s&t internship at a bb this summer, just know your shit, network, show your passion and I think you can make it.

If there is anything I might be able to help you with, let me know.

Actually... send me an email and I have something that will make your day..

Because when you're in a room full of smart people, smart suddenly doesn't matter—interesting is what matters.

A lot of MM S&T shops don't recruit heavily at the underground level. They usually don't have structured training programs like that of the BB firms. They may take a few "assistants" for desks if there are open eats with the hope that these hires can move into a full time sales or trading position. Usually you would get the job through a connection and your network.
