Modern-Day Baruchs, Livermores
Quick question for those of you who have read Bernard Baruch by James Grant or Reminiscences of A Stock Operator. Who do you think is most like these traders today? Off the top of my head, Stevie Cohen seems like the best candidate for a modern-day Livermore considering his "reading the tape" style and status as a trader's trader. However SAC itself is fairly institutionalized, in contrast with Livermore's career as a private speculator. Anyhow, just wanted to see what some people on this board thought.
Do you really think that is how SAC is making its money now? lol c'mon man... it has been a lot different everywhere for some time now.
Lipschutz
Of course I don't mean literally the same way. I mean in spirit. As in Seth Klarman is probably the modern-day Benjamin Graham. C'mon man.
You're a retard. In spirit.
Thanks awp.
