Morgan Stanley Commodities S&T (Houston)

Looking for any recent insight on Morgan Stanley's commodities S&T desk in Houston. Specifically interested in a few things.

How has the desk been performing over the past year or two? I know commodities revenues have been volatile across the street, but curious whether MS Houston has held up well or seen cuts.

How does the culture and deal flow compare to Goldman's commodities franchise or Citi's energy trading operation? Goldman obviously has the historical dominance in commodities, but I've heard mixed things about headcount changes. Citi seems to have been building out their energy business more aggressively.

For anyone who has interned or worked there, what's the day to day like? Is the Houston office siloed from NY, or is there good connectivity across desks?

Any color on exit opps from the seat would also be helpful. Thinking about whether this is a strong launching pad into physical trading shops, energy PE, or hedge funds focused on commodities.

Appreciate any perspectives from people who have visibility into the desk or have gone through recruiting there recently.

Thanks. How's the SA experience would be? Would you say MS's Houston commodities S&T is less coveted than GS and Citi?
