And most people would say rates and volatility are the most technically demanding.
Rates is very general, do you mind breaking it down a little?
And would equities be considered the least technically demanding?
Probably exotic rates derivatives.
Do you mind explaining what exotic rates derivatives is in more detail? What makes a rate exotic? What do exotic rates derivative traders do all day? etc.
Have you even attempted to use the search function?
I get the basics. Exotics are the more unusual products within a department and Derivatives and Options are highly leveraged bets and hedges on the future value of a security.
I am curious about the day to day. I don’t see anything like that on the forum. What goes into creating these sophisticated hedges?
