Need advice in REPO interview

Background - Worked in ops supporting repo desk at MM... transitioned to junior trader on money market desk at regional SS shop... and now have an interview lined up at AM repo desk... (have been at each role for ~2yrs)

Does it make sense to reach out to the traders at previous firm (MM) to ask about advice/tips and what to expect in the interview in the new role ? Have not made much progress networking until recently so want strike while the iron is hot..

Any feedback appreciated, thx
