Networking Advice?

Looking to break into S&T at investment banks in London after I graduate. Love the markets, love trading, love everything about that side of the business. However I’m not from a key target in the UK so I’m concerned about my chances. I’ve been trying to network on LinkedIn like a crazy person but struggling to get responses. Even after I get responses most say they don’t have time to talk but they can answer any Q’s I have. Then once I ask my Q’s, rarely any replies. I’m “high functioning” autistic and introverted so charisma is not my strong suit. Have any of you guys got any advice on what type of questions I need to be asking? I don’t wanna come across like I’m trying to just get people to do favours for me. I ask about what people do and how they got into the business, which I genuinely am interested in. But when it comes to passing on my CV / putting a good word in, I’m unsure what to say/ask.

There are no certain or special questions to ask to make someone pay attention to you. Ultimately if they're not willing to hop on a call with you, you can be sure they're not willing to put in the effort to refer you (not that that does anything in London).

No matter how many questions you ask, the main route into S&T is via an internship. Very very few people get in outside of this route. And I've seen second hand that referrals get ppl nowhere.
