Networking for S&T & Quant

Hey guys, so I'll be starting college as a CS major + Econ minor in the fall (for timeline & major reference if necessary). I've been doing S&T and quant stuff independently (yes both, tho I'd say I'm more inclined to quant due to my strong background in CS, specifically in data). Is there any difference in terms of OCR & networking between S&T, quant, and IB (or ER, PE, etc.)? As far as I can tell (plz correct me if I'm wrong), the quant OCR happens mostly in the quantitative majors/clubs (CS, Math, Physics, Engineering), the S&T seems to be a mix of the quantitative majors/clubs & business majors/clubs, and then the rest of the career paths seem to have OCR focused in business majors/clubs.
