Non-Compete Question?
If I work in Chicago/NYC and have a non-compete and I go work abroad such as in the Bahamas or the Caymans, do they have a leg to stand on regarding enforcing this? Probably better to ask an employment lawyer, but was curious if anyone has experience with this. I know non-compete are unenforceable in California, but assume it has something to do with where you actually sign the contract and where the contract specifies the jurisdiction it refers to.
