Worked for Svenska Handelsbanken and Swedbank before, in Stockholm. Their US counterparts back then were tiny, haven't even met anyone at their US offices.
From what I have heard, Carnegie AB is a decent player with US exposure, otherwise Nordea is also quite innovative and keen to hire Anglo staff (a colleague from the US was hired to Sweden through Nordea).
I know a few people at Ålandsbanken and Länsförsäkringar Bank.
