O&G trading shop comparisons

Hello, long time reader first time poster with a gasoline trading internship at Sunoco LP internship this summer curious as to what happens post internship. Background: State school engineering major in the energy sector of school ran investment fund.

1. Entry level: Seems the norm is to spend 1-3 years in a gasoline blender/ analyst role. What does the comp for these roles look like? 50?, 60?, 90k? Really have no idea.

2. How does the comp for a FO trading role at a company like sunoco compare to other shops (BP, Shell, etc)

3. Any technical skills people recommend to enhance my value to companies like Sunoco and other shops?

I appreciate the input guys! Throw anything at me that you have.
