Online MBA for Power trader?
I’m currently a real-time power trader for a supermajor (Shell/BP/Chevron). I trade In the US and I’ve been trading for about 2 years now. The company will cover about 75% of annual tuition, the only caveat is that it’ll probably have to be online. Is an online MBA worth it or is it not viewed well in other hiring circles?
my 2 cents are that it won't hurt down the road as long as its from a reputable program. I do think talking and networking with traders while you are in the office will most likely get you to that seat more so than the MBA. But having a MBA for 25% of the cost can't be a bad thing...
If you want to stay in trading waste of time. If you plan to move to BD or so different story.
When you say BD are you referring to broker-dealer or something else?
