Have an SA offer to S&T at a BB, and want to gather some info on an analyst role.
What’s the Canary Wharf S&T community like?
TOTAL COMP for a first year analyst? Base starts at 50, no idea on bonus though. And how far does this salary go in the way of lifestyle etc.
Large number of analysts attempting laterals to IBD too? Sounds like a perk of a BB.

I did a BB S&T internship in London, although not in Canary Wharf. 1st year analysts at this bank get 70k GBP all in. Can only speak of my intern class, of which ca 5% of interns tried and succeeded in switching over to IBD.
Awesome thanks, am guessing BAML or GS then haha. So not too much variation per analyst? And interesting on the IBD switch, ECM, DCM or M&A specifically?
