Performance Trust Capital Partners?

In the middle of S&T recruiting for SA 2025 and saw their application on my school's Handshake. Anybody have any info on their S&T business (best desks, culture, etc.)? Any advice/info would be much appreciated. Thanks everyone!

Performance Trust is an interesting place to work they have a huge focus on community financial institution clients and a very different approach to how they think about things.  Their website is actually really good and they do a pretty good job explaining what they are focused on.  In terms of what they trade they are mostly focused on more esoteric type structured products as they don't have the balance sheet to truly compete with the larger firms in more vanilla stuff.  I have met a couple of people who have worked there and it for sure feels like a bit of a cult but people seem to enjoy working there.  It is very different from traditional sales and trading.

Thank you so much for the info! it is much appreciated. As you said, they run their S&T business a lot differently than traditional S&T. So is it more of a structuring shop? Do they see any flow?

Once again, thank you!
