PM position in trading

Hi,

I have a dilemma here:
I have been offered a project management position within a technology group for a large bank, they have offered low six figures for a job located in Manhattan. Duties will be numerous and will go beyond what a typical PM does, the job will be very technical in nature.

I do not have extensive project management experience but in my market (since I would need to relocate to nyc), I would be making more if I don't take the offer (factoring in after-tax income and cost of living) .
I really want this job but at the same time it feels like I am being low-balled.

Any thoughts on whether this is a low-ball offer for a job in NYC ? Do project managers make a lot more then that ?
