Power scheduling vs. IB Commodity Sales
Hi all
I've just finished my Master's degree and now I'm looking to start my career in the commodities sector, hopefully going towards trading.
I've just been offered a power scheduling role at a utility company in London and I'm still in the running for the Barclays graduate scheme in the commodity sales team.
Up to now I hadn't really thought of doing power scheduling so I have no real clue if this is a good move to start a career or if it's better to do an Analyst position in an IB to get a good training for 2 years.
I appreciate any input.
Thanks
