Prop trading firms - Virtu FInancial
Has anyone heard of Virtu Financial? How does it compare to the popular ones out there like DRW/Jump/IMC/JaneS? - an developer from tech firms with interest in statistics/math, moving to the prop trading world
If you can get a job at Virtu, go for it. They are more like GETCO than any of the firms you mentioned though.
Interview process is tough - I was there from 8.30am until 7.30pm.
So are Getco/Virtu stilled considered prop trading firms? Is the business they do different?
