Question about overnight positions and prop firms

Hi

I am new to this forum so please forgive me if this is not the correct category to have placed this thread.

I wanted to know if there were any good prop firms out there that accept international traders and also accept over night risk. I am strictly anti day trading and keep positions over few few weeks to few months.

Right now i am facing liquidity issues and am under capitalized. Any help or guidance this way would be highly appreciated.

Thank you.

no he meant experienced traders that is why Trillium's model is confusing.

Most of those "Prop" trading firms are not in fact interested in the profit / loss of the trader. Instead, they are only interested in how much volume the trader makes.

Why? Because this way, they profit from the commissions. So in fact they wanna sell something. Most of them want additionally sell training.

Now what you basically need is to find a prop firm that focuses on your P/L. This brings a few problems though:

  • It's difficult to join them. Many require a financial degree or similar
  • You might not be able to trade your strategy, because they apply rules to your trading
  • They might not offer services to international traders

Ideal would be the following:

  • Access to a Cash Pool
  • Profit Split between the trader and the company
  • No trading rules or restrictions
  • Remote trading, from anywhere in the world

Problem is that such a service probably might not exist. So in my opinion, you are way better off "trading at home alone" with a retail trading firm like for example Interactive Brokers.
