Regional bank trading to next step

I'm currently working as a trader in a regional bank doing trading and coding in a quite balanced fashion. I enjoy the job and colleagues but am looking to move on as I would like to move to a different city as well as be in a more tech-focused trading firm / bank. My current workplace does not provide great infrastructure / support / data and that makes it difficult to perform on the trading part as well as I would like to.

I don't have a lot of recruiters reaching out to me as the bank I'm at is not well known. Any tips on how to approach the transition?
