Rejected - How long to wait?

So I had what I thought was going to be a conversation a few weeks ago with someone from within JPM S&T and turned out to be almost an hour of technicals and other questions. After this initial phone interview the person told me I would be contacted about the next step (if there is one). Does anyone have any experience with JPM and the recruiting process? How long should I wait to assume I was rejected? Thanks

I was notified about a week after my initial phone screening for the final round interview via a phone call from the recruiter. This was Investment Management though, not S&T. Also depends on how early you are according to their recruitment schedule.

Recruiting process differs based on your profile. If you are coming from a non-target, and networked to get the initial phone interview, then the process will be less structured. I did quite a bit of waiting with JPM -- I wouldn't give up hope until after 2 weeks (which is when I got the confirmation email for the final round).
