Reposition Applicant for Internship
Hey all you crazy monkeys,
I had a quick question regarding repositioning as an applicant for a middle market investment bank. I am actively applying for summer 2025 MM M&A internships. The question is, if I don’t get an IB internship in summer 2025, I will extend my graduation date to December 2026 instead of May 2026. Therefore, allowing me to apply for summer 2026 as well as summer 2025. Will I be automatically rejected in summer 2026 if I had already gotten rejected in summer 2025? Or, will I get a second chance in 2026 after having another different finance internship for summer 2025?
