RSJ algorithmic trading

I introduce you, RSJ a.s, worlds largest trader in size and volume

Largest counterparty at LIFFE, Eurex and maybe in 2 years also at ICE Futures Europe

Most people here favor prop shops like Getco or algo traders like RenTech. But none of you ever heard of RSJ a.s

Their trading volume exceeds €6500 billion monthly and about €80000 billion annually. I´m sure you´ve never heard of this size.

Never heard of them, but I always think it's a bit of a red herring when firms boast so much about the volume they trade. In the algo-trading world, market-cap is relatively meaningless. What's much more important is profitability and I'd be surprised if they were close to GETCO on those terms.

Tough to find information about guys like these. Reminds me of when the Flipper gained massive prominence amongst Eurex traders 4 or so years ago. Even huge players in the Eurex couldn't figure out who he was for some time.

Would be curious to find out more about RSJ. More interesting discussion than the typical Getco, JSC and who is better piss-fest (although none work for the firm) that occurs here.

You got the point, it´s difficult to find more...

RSJ is for sure the largest player in LIFFE, Eurex and ICE Futures.

They´ve got also Hedge Funds, who use their computer grids.
