SA MM S&T Advice

Hello Everyone,

I'm interning virtually at a MM investment bank as a sales & trading summer analyst. As many of you already know, the role requires lots of shadows and networking with employees to receive a return offer. That being said, doing the internship virtually, I've been scheduling a large amount of networking calls with current employees at my bank. What is the common courtesy for following up? Should I treat the conversation similarly as if I were seeking an information interview with a follow-up thank you each time or is that unnecessary? Thoughts on this?
