Sales guys first on the chopping block?
With the layoffs announced lately at banks, I've noticed the sales guys seem to get hit pretty hard. Is this usually the case? Does it just come with the boom and bust nature of finance? Obviously the good/great guys will have jobs no matter what, but what about middling guys?
BofA said today they're cutting 3500 on top of the 2500 already announced earlier. Cuts are all across the board from what I hear but the first to go would be the middling coasters of course.
Wouldn't the bottom ranked coasters be first to go?
