Seeking Alpha Markets Analyst Internship??

Hey Everyone!

First off I'd like to thank everyone for their help in advance. I recently got accepted into the Seeking Alpha Markets Analyst position where I would assist in equity research and article publishing on analysis of various stocks. Now, I am here to ask all of you if this is a credible opportunity and is something that I should pursue as a side-experience? Would it look good on my resume? Or would it be seen as a deterrent to hedge funds and other asset managers that I want to apply for next year?

I have completed two internships in PE, and am a trader for an endowment fund my university runs, so I could produce some credible research and analysis.

Any insight you could offer would be great. I haven't decided yet if I want to take part in it, but could use your help deciding.

Yeah I am basically just asking to see if anyone has had experience with it or to get general advice. I've read a lot about how Seeking Alpha has been a bit of a joke lately and I wanted to make sure it is credible resume building tool.

Look at the quality of SA contributors and figure it out.

SA allows college students and self proclaimed equity analysts to post; it's a complete joke.
