Senior wondering when to apply for graduate programs?

Hey everyone,

Currently a senior at a T50 Big 10 University that’s looking into commodity trading as a career. Don’t have any direct internship experience within the commodity trading world (did some internships within private equity and venture capital, but also have done internships at a hedge fund and a startup), and i’m wondering if this will hinder my chances. Additionally, is a 3.4 - 3.5 GPA enough?

Wondering when I need to apply to graduate programs. Want to apply to Glencore NYC / Houston and Trafi Houston for sure, but not sure when those will be released. Wondering if Cargill or any ag trading firms have graduate programs to consider as well? What about Vitol? (didn’t see any info on a Vitol graduate program).

Any insights are appreciated.

For ags, Cargill's associate program has been out for a month. ADM is hiring interns but did not see full time stuff. LDC is done idk? Noble TDP is now Vitol's from what ive heard. Not sure if Bunge's trainee program is also their TDP but worth to apply anyway. Its gonna be supper hard not having any related experience and w/ the shit gpa

makes sense, but it seems like a lot of commodity trading firms don’t really do internships? Must be super hard to get an internship at Glencore or Trafi, and I wonder what they are looking for in terms of experience.
