Setting Yourself Up for Trading Internship Recruiting
Hi WSO -
I'm a rising Junior very interesting in working at a trading firm next summer, setting myself up to become a trader at a prop shop or hedge fund after I graduate. My relevant experience is in PWM, and I've also had an internship in energy market research (not trading related, but maybe gives me an edge in energy trading). I also have a few connections in the industry I can leverage - but I'm not too sure how to proceed with them.
With a month left of summer and a couple of months left until summer recruiting starts, what are the best things I can do to set myself up to be a prime candidate for a summer internship at a prop shop / HF?
Thanks!
