Shell TDP - Assessments
Does anyone know if Shell still does those logical / verbal / abstract Cubiks tests for their US TDP? I am pretty bad at these type of timed tests so any resources would be welcomed if they still do them.

Based on previous WSO threads, Shell's Trading Development Programme (TDP) does include assessments, and there are restrictions on the frequency of test-taking. If you haven't passed the assessment in the past, you will have to wait 1-2 years before you can try again.
While the specific details about the types of tests (logical, verbal, abstract Cubiks tests) for the US TDP are not explicitly mentioned, it is common for such programs to include these types of assessments.
Here are some tips and resources that might help you prepare:
Practice Tests: Look for online resources that offer practice tests for logical, verbal, and abstract reasoning. Websites like JobTestPrep and AssessmentDay provide sample tests and practice questions.
Time Management: Since these tests are timed, practice under timed conditions to improve your speed and accuracy.
Study Guides: There are various study guides available that can help you understand the types of questions you might face and the best strategies to tackle them.
Forums and Discussions: Engage with forums like Wall Street Oasis to get insights from others who have taken similar tests. They might share their experiences and tips on how to prepare effectively.

Yup they still have that for the US TDP. Not sure how much of an impact it has on decision making though.
what can we expect? did you go through the TDP process in the past? how was to assessment and the other steps?
You can Google more about the Cubiks exam, but in most cases there’s a verbal section where you read a passage and answer questions like the SAT, there’s a math section, and an abstract section where you guess the next picture after a series of 4-5 of them. No clue on what’s after that though
Yes that was exactly what I had. Hope I did well. Waiting for the feedback and maybe the next step
