Shipping fees for work visa documents - ask for reimbursement?
I have a quick question about asking for reimbursements...and if it's worth it.
I actually have to get two work visas this summer, since I have internships in both Tokyo and Hong Kong. The banks have firms that deal with getting me my visas, so all I have to do is send documents. However, since I have to send documents internationally...I've paid $44 to send documents for one Visa, and $90 to send things for the other.
My question is...do people normally ask to get reimbursed for this, or should I just forget about it? It's not a huge amount of money in the scheme of things, considering my compensation/benefits, but if it's something that's normally done, it would be nice to know.
Thanks!
