Should I bother with "Amplify Trading" program?

What's the final verdict on this? I feel like it's ridiculously expensive but it had good results with people from my school. I know many recruiters could see it as a negative on a CV. However, I'm thinking about enrollment because I don't really have that much knowledge about recruiting by myself. Even after searching different forums I'm still anxious, it would be better if I had guidance. They offer help with interview prep, applications, cover letters, etc.

Is it worth it?

I'm based in Europe with interest in IB/ER.

I'd rather see a blue-collar retail job than this type of scammy program on a resume... honestly would be an auto-ding from me. You can learn all about recruiting if you spend an hour or two searching these forums figuring out how it works.

Also I don't know if you're looking at a different program, but as far as I know the "interview prep/cover letter prep" is literally a Zoom call where they give generic advice - it's not specific to you. Really though, applications are very simple online forums, cover letters are not used at all/waste of time to do one. If you want professional help with a resume or mock interviews, pay a professional to do that, post your redacted resume on here for feedback or ask your friends, but these guys do not specialize in that.

Don't pay this amount of money just because you're anxious. Ask older people at your school, reach out to older alums on LinkedIn.

Thanks for the response. I'm trying my best to network and reach out but the results are just depressing.

I should also bring up that Amplify have made a partnership with Morgan Stanley, does that make them any less trash?

OP, check and see how many of those who succeeded off the programme are diversity hires who were already competent and qualified enough to get the job on their own. DON'T DO IT. I get the anxiety but believe me if you don't have confidence and courage, even the programme won't help you. With lots of research and prudence you can get the job.
