Should i email?

Im a junior at a semi target who did 1 phone interview for a summer analyst position for a BB Fixed Income and Commodities division. The interviewer liked me and explicitly told me that he was passing my resume to HR. This was over a month ago, and I have yet to receive contact about my recruiting process. I emailed an HR person several times, but received one unhelpful reply. Should I email my interviewer and ask him about my application? He is pretty high up and he told me that he was passing me, but I dont want to bother him.

You should follow up with the person. In many cases people simply forget, and you following up shows that you are actually interested in the role.
