Should I get FINRA series 3 for physical oil/gas trading?
Hi all,
I am currently a fresh grad working in scheduling for a major oil and gas company. If my end goal is to become a physical oil/gas trader will getting the series 3 help boost my resume for the future? I don’t want to be stuck scheduling forever.

No one cares about any of the series in physical trading. If you want to not be stuck in scheduling forever then the best bet you have is to leverage the connections at your current company. Make an impression on the people that matter. That will go much further than any certification.
