Should I transfer to a target UG if I’m planning to go to grad school(MFE)?

Currently at a non target undergrad (UConn/UMass/Rutgers) with a decent GPA (3.8) and am majoring in applied mathematics with a comp sci minor. I initially took the route due to it being the cheapest (50% scholarship) and have somewhat regretted it thus far, however I'm wondering if transferring to a target undergrad would really be warranted given I'd most likely have to spend an additional $50k on top of my current student loans and the $100k I plan on spending for grad school. My only concern is that my alumni network is limited and I know grad schools take internships into consideration with admissions. For perspective, I'm not trying to break into IB and am pushing for some sort of Quant strategist or Stat-Arb role after grad school and dream of being admitted into a top MFE program directly out of undergrad. Any advice is greatly appreciated!
