SIG Interview Process (QT Intern)

I recently started SIG's interview process for 2025 QT Intern and about a week ago did the second (third?) round interview. It was with a former trader and involved fit questions as well as math/stats stuff.

Now, I was given an offer for a third round interview with a top person at the firm. I am going to assume this is the last interview before the spd. What's weird is that I did my second interview about a week ago, and the next one is scheduled for nearly a month from now? Is this normal or a bad sign? And does anyone have any insights on what the process is like?

Normal. They gotta interview a lot of people. Don’t think to much into it

SIG website says recruiting begins in july...how did you get to 3R already (not recruiting, just curious)?
