so how about gold today?

lost $10k on silver last week, so i rebuffed and invested more than i'd be willing to publicly admit on gold the day after, lost a bit more last week and monday morning

but today....after today.....anyone else just make a killing?

i have restrictions, but advised my friends to buy the october 130 calls on GLD for 1.8 this AM. rationale was risk reward largely skewed towards being long. did they listen? id imagine no.

 

went long last night around 1300, but in rly small amount, nothing like +- 10k... yeah, earned a couple of nice dinners

Optimism bump, not unlike the pessimism slump in the FICC when tapering was first announced.
