http://www.sparkspread.com/login.php?return=%2Fsp…

I was wondering if someone with a subscription to sparkspread could tell who the frontrunners are for the rbs sempra auction.

Thanks

adehboneWho cares? They have been raided and rumor out that every BB wants to buy them. The best talent and parts of Sempra have already been taken.

They still have that huge natural gas arm. That's worth something.

I guess that is true like Nexen they have a big natgas marketing arm, will allow someone to gain more exposure in certain markets.

I don't get it. JP and DB won't buy RBS Sempra b/c of prop trading, but JP now has the white elephant of Sempra Metals, which can never be a customer funds shop b/c nobody in their right mind would trade with someone who has access to that much information.

I mean in metals there's glencore and trafi, and why would they use Sempra Metals? So what's JP's plan for that 1.7 bb monster they just bought?
