S&T Associate Promotion
Is it typical for top S&T analysts at BB firms to be promoted to associate after their second year or to do a third year and then get promoted?

Career Resources
bump
I'm curious about overall trading career progression as well. Bump for great justice
usually third
Apparently at BAML London, it's 2-3 years tops before you're either promoted or out.
Most places are up or out
2-3 years is common
I'm guessing 2 year analyst then promotion is very rare? I mean IBD is almost always 3 years analyst before getting promoted to an associate so I'm guessing S&T would be similar?
