S&T Headcounts

Is it just my observation or industry in general have less headcount nowadays?

After working at the same company for a few years, I found my company no longer have motivation to pay me what I deserved. However, it looks like for my product - fixed income exotic rates, everywhere is so crowded. No new headcount unless some one left.

Do you also find it’s hard to change job?

Have been networking for a few years but always told we don’t have new vacancy.

We received 1000+ resumes for a junior fixed income trader position. So you can only imagine....

Headcounts will be less, period.

Wall street are cutting instead of hiring now!
