S&T Hours?

Wanted to get a sense of which desks come in / leave earlier vs. later. If anyone working in BB S&T (especially sales) could weigh in with their desk and the times they usually come in in the morning and leave in the evening that would be great. Hopefully this can become a thread that sheds more light on the WLB in S&T in 2022; there's plenty of stuff on IB but not much here.

Typically a 10-12 hour window. Trading is closer to 12; sales is closer to 10. The main difference between desks is whether that time window starts at 6:15am or 8:30am

Desks dealing with more complex products tend to stay longer, too (6-7ish, sometimes later).

for sales, how often are u meeting clients after u leave at 6:30 pm

Generally speaking most everyone is gone by 6:30pm regardless of desk. You’ll have strats or analysts here and there working on things but its not the norm.

As someone above pointed out the big thing is when you start your day. Something like rates sales you’re getting in around 6:30am when you start but something like credit maybe closer to 7:30. Varies quite a bit.
