S&T or GDP

This decision has been stressing me out so much. Simply put, should I start my career at a place like JPM/ Citi/ GS for Commodities S&T or should I go to shell for their GDP. I know they’re really different career paths. Comp wise S&T is very lucrative, but I’ve had a lot of people tell me that a GDP is better in the long run. Any insight is appreciated
