S&T Summer Analyst or Get Shot?

Hi all, I have a BB S&T summer analyst offer that I have tentatively accepted, but I hate sales and trading and want to go into banking. Even worse, I made a deal with my cousin and he said he would kill me if I ever backed out of a commitment again in my life. I really want to back out of my S&T SA position and pursue some other field, but I will get shot. Is it worth it?

Let me get this straight, you don't want to recruit for IB offers that would align with your career goals and make you happier than your current situation because of a verbal agreement with a cousin?? I guess if you're in Alabama you don't want to upset your future wife but it seems like a no brainer
