S&T vs Ops First Year Analyst Position Help!

Hi everyone!

I would love everyone's thoughts on my current dilemma within my job search. Basically, I'm between a very low tier BB S&T first year analyst position in a satellite office (not NYC) or top BB front office operations analyst position in NYC. S&T is definitely something I'm more passionate about but I wasn't sure if I was making a huge mistake by declining an offer at this BB even though it isn't a division I am particularly interested in? Is it difficult to land a front office role from ops or does it take a lot of years and dedication to make this move? Additionally, if I were to do a year in the low BB satellite office would it be very difficult to move into a mid or top BB front office NYC position?
