Suggestions for writing morning brief
As a bit of background, I am an undergraduate student looking to work within Sales & Trading, preferably within the sales side.
As part of prepping for interviews (particularly market questions) I've started my own "Morning Brief", currently only sent to friends & family. I think of it as my thought diary on the markets with discussions on interest rates, general economic data etc. I have access to BB terminal through the university so have no trouble gathering info. I've also managed to have a few networking chats with people on different desks, so I have a few contacts.
My actual questions are (a) is there anything that I should focus on to improve my market knowledge; and (b) is it worth asking the people I've spoken to if they are happy to receive it and provide feedback.
My rationale for asking them is to try and show interest in markets to differentiate myself in the recruitment process.
Thanks in advance.
