Seen that vid years ago... if you think mental math is what quants do, then you have no clue. By the same token, would you say computers own all quants? lol I looked up his system, its fairly simple, just takes practice.
Sure, I know quants have more of a job than mental math. It was more of a catchy topic than anything. Nonetheless, amazing. And I'm sure you could simply learn the system and operate as fast as he does.. I'm sure that doesn't take years of practice..
Read a decent book if you've time for this. I hear Leveraged Buyouts new book is pretty hilarious.
