Thoughts on being an SA S&T with their SIE?

Currently in two programs that are giving us the opportunity to prep to do SIE prep and test for free.

I’ll be interning next summer in nyc for equities. Will having my SIE help make me have an advantage for full time decisions or even if i wanted to move to another bank for full time?
