Thoughts on HEC Montreal MsC in Financial Engineering?

Dear friends from WSO,

I am considering taking a Master's Degree next year and apart from the most popular ones everybody know I've been told to apply to the HEC Montreal MsC in Financial Engineering as I have lived in Montreal for a semester due to the exchange program I did as an undergaduate at McGill University. Admission requirements do not seem challenging as they only ask for a 630 GMAT. Given the fact I am pursuing a career in S&T right now in Canada/US/London, what are your thoughts on this? Anyone here who has taken this program?

He took the time to understand my background, past experiences, and the specific roles I am currently recruiting for, and then tailored his suggestions accordingly. He also connected many of his recommendations to his own professional background and experiences, which made the feedback much more practical and credible. Instead of simply telling me what to change, he explained why certain answers or approaches would be more effective and how an interviewer might interpret them. He also shared specific examples from his own experience to illustrate his points. It's a good program but career opportunities are limited to NBC and Desjardins. Waterloo would be a better choice.
