Trading as a Proprietorship?

Anyone successfully done this, cutting out after a corporate stint? Or am I just dreaming?

Been trading equity options with stable success for while & hoping to slowly "liftoff" someday into a proprietorship situation. I'm by no means, a "Wall Street Bets" style rip & dip option buyer; I typically sell naked, or spreads, and play in & out of stock positions. Have been pretty successful with it.

My background is very heavy in commodity futures & options professionally, so have a solid background in the derivatives space in general.

Is it realistic to think I might be able to do this? Or just a pipe-dream? Anyone successfully made this happen?

Thanks for any insight,
